Garden Party Tablescape

Girls get together for a
birthday garden party!

First had to gather the 'plates'
then I used a Dremel tool to
etch our names.

The menu:
Steak shish kabobs
New potato 'rocks'
Salad greens

all served on waxed paper right on our rock plates.

Dessert was dump cake served
up in a little red wheel barrow.
Keeping with the garden them
it was dished out with a garden spade.

Susan was the birthday girl, notice
her place setting had a rock cup holder.
Love those honey comb rocks!
We went in together and purchased
a pond form and pump from Home Depot.

For more trips around the table,
visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch.

  19. Oh. My. Goodness!!! You are so clever! I absolutely adore this tablescape. How did you ever come up with using rocks for the plates? And where did you find flat rocks like that? You are so clever. You're giving me some great ideas for future tablescapes for my church women's ministry brunches.
Have a great weekend. :) Brenda
P.S. I am such a dunce at computer stuff, so I entered a wrong url and you actually saw last week's tablescape. If you have a chance and want to give me another click, it will take you to today's.
