Easter Brunch & Where I Cook~

What could be more natural
than greeting Easter morning
in the garden?

And here is where that cookin' is done. The heart of
my kitchen...the stove where love is mixed up
and ready to serve.

She rises also while it is still night,
And gives food to her household...

The builder couldn't understand why I
wanted a deep useless corner left open
behind my corner stove top. Just do it please.

The miniature cast iron stove and painted rock shoe
(on the brown box in the back-click to enlarge)
belonged to my MIL's mother. She was a kindred spirit
when it came to crafting. Wish I could have known her better.

This cutie pie on the wall always makes me smile...
stirs up (pun intended) feelings of my childhood.
Cute apron don't you think?

Susan has the menu for what's bein'
served up this week, so...

Let's Eat!

  11. I want to know more about those grass placemats. So cute.

Men builders just don't understand. This is why I think I've been successful. I understand what's important to women. I know, for example, about putting plugs close to window for the electric Christmas candles. Who want extension cords strung out everywhere?
