Last week I picked up this diamond in the rough for $10. Thought I could paint it and sell it. So let's slap some white paint on. Doesn't have to be perfect for the finish I was going for.

Normally I would use whatever was in the garage,
but my supple was depleted.
MINWAX Wood Finish- Dark Walnut

a multi-color theme. But in the end I went
with the fast finish.

Another Met Monday project

inspired by my girlfriends in
blogland...this time it was...
Miss Gracie's House
On March 2nd she shared her
bedroom makeover. The finish
on her iron and brass headboard
inspired me.
If you haven't visited her yet
you are in for a treat. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteWow Candy, that turned out so great! I am looking to do something similar as a nightstand for my daughter's bedroom, just haven't found quite the right diamond in the rough yet!

Spectacular!!!!!! This will be a fabulous addition to your home. I can't believe this $10.00 coffee table can look like a million bucks! You did such a wonderful job. I absolutely love the finish! I am just venturing into the world of painting furniture. I sure could use a good tutorial (hint for another post), but you gave me tons of inspiration!
