Gold and Silver

Today I have a few photos to share,
of golden glamor and sterling silver.

First a golden warm setting of pottery.
Needs a scattering of autumn leaves and
a few pumpkins don't you think.

And I see on the other end of the room
a velvety golden sofa...
to continue those
after dinner conversations.

Then I have silver...shiny, cool and sleek.
And to continue those conversations
around old literature...
a silver sofa laden with cushions.

Or maybe a mixture of the two. As in the one above
with the lush golden ottoman or below
which is a bit more formal
silver and gold.

    All of the pictures are just gorgeous. I love all the gold and silver, and the dishes are stunning. Such pretty rooms. I am a silver and gold girl. I just can't choose one or the other. Hugs, Marty

    Your pictures are so pretty...you always have great ones! I have never stopped loving gold and now, I think it's coming around again. {I like silver too!} I hired a decorator and she wanted to change all my gold tone fixtures to silver. I'm so glad I stood my ground!

    I'm definately not a golden girl... so that leaves me with silver... except I prefer platinum.. which is better than silver in all the good ways! :)

    You know you hit on something Candy about being gold or silver girl, and I'm getting kind of confused. You know what I just need more room to have both. I have always been a gold girl, in fact I had every serving piece in gold. I still like my gold, but now I'm leaning towards silver... It just goes on and on with decorating. Sometimes I could just go crazy, because I really do like EVERYTHING... just about.
