Gazing out the window...

This is a birthday card I came across this morning and it just happens to capture my thoughts today. On the back is written:

A person needs a place to
unfold their truths and
extract the humor.
That place is the
Pondering Pool.
Perhaps I'll see you there.

I seem to be having a
BLUE MONDAY
so to lift my spirits I'm heading over to
Smiling Sally's.
Blogging is a surefire way to lift the blues ;-)

    Hm, I suppose the Pondering Pool would be blue because only then would we ponder about deep thoughts. I'm sorry you're a bit blue today, Candy. This time of year can do that to those of us with nest empty and loved ones gone. Blue Monday is a good way to lift those blues and begin to chuckle again.

    Candy, I'm sorry you're having a blue day. That is a cute saying on that card. Glad you found it.

    Come over and visit me and see the things I saw that are fun when I went shopping yesterday. And yes, I did buy a sock monkey, and it is a tiny one. I have so many that I didn't feel justified in buying one of the larger variety.

    I'm sending you extra hugs today. Don't want one of my favorite bloggers to feel blue.
