Along the road in my neighborhood is this tree sprouting a cactus. The trunk is a great example of strength and endurance. Bent with deep scares, lifeless limbs that remind of past life. While returning home yesterday I spied the yellow blossom amongst the prickly disks of green. And you know the quote that popped into my head...BLOOM WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED!
