I wanted to play along with
Tabletops Tuesday but couldn't find any photos from my stash that grabbed me. Last resort...get the camera and find something around the house. This is a metal shelf in my dining room. Not just a dining room, but one of those family room things...kitchen, dining, and sitting area with a fireplace.
This oyster plate was a gift from my sister, Pam when our whole family went on a Mississippi River Boat cruise. Other pretties are passed down pieces from both sides of our families.
This is why I don't take pictures in my house.Dust...or maybe that's just angel dust.
I've heard about that stuff so maybe that's what it is.

While snapping pictures at the shelf,
here's my sweet Granny.

And finally...
This is some of what's on an
antique secretary in the
living room.
I adore the loving look to his master.
In the famous words of French Lique Dixie...That's the SWEET LIFE
here at RockCandy. OH POOH! is right. I go to all this writing, go to hook up and find out that life has taken over at Grits & Glamour. Life is like that sometimes...getting in the way of blogland adventures. But I'm going to post anyway, so hope you enjoy!
