Picked up this cute little cork board for a song-$1.25-and really wasn't too bad as is but...

this is more to my liking. From my stash of pillow shams I chose a ruffled rose print, took it all apart and reassembled as a wall pocket organizer. I'm still adding embellishments so the morphing will continue.

Love Rocks!

Shell I say...
my pink heart rocks for you!

The sea shell valentine is from the
Victoria February 1996 magazine
that is part of my
Vintage Victorian Angels giveaway.

And I am also going to include the hat pillow I just finished yesterday.

If you ask to put your name in for the
giveaway I'll do so, otherwise I will assume it's something you wish to pass on.

I'll close out on Tuesday night, draw a name Wednesday morning and as soon as I have the address of the winner will head for the post office and hope it arrives before Valentine's Day!

HAT PILLOW

The sun is out today, glorious sun!
But while the rain fell for almost a week
I took time to create another hat pillow.

On a black velvet find I put a bit of
vintage crocheted lace and buttons
from my family heirlooms.

Used the same fabric on the bottom
as the gathered band and yo-yos.

Thanks for stopping by to see my

I just this morning discovered

Now I'm heading out to
enjoy the

It was a 25c day...

...for Thrifting Thursday. I'm a $1 gal, just can't pass up that old $1 price tag. BUT when I can get four things for that $1, well that's what's called thrifting.
Cute little cup & saucer holder
Four pin cushions ready for a make over
One cool vintage frame
and an old leather pooch

all for $1.75
like I said...thrifty!

Let's go see what else is showing

A Garden of Silver

Victoria February 1990

'As if carved of moonlight by an ethereal hand, the floral-patterned silver of the past captured the fleeting beauty of nature~~the perfection of a rose with its petals unfurled, the exuberance of chrysanthemums. Trained along the side of a teapot or abloom on a spoon, these lush images have a grace that still endures.'

Only one more week left to
share your silver
hosted by

I was trying to work up a
silver post with a little different twist.
Couldn't bring it all together but
hopefully will have it ready
for the grand finale
next week.

God Bless you all~~~
