Food for Thought~

Sweet hostess Susan has the
menu of all the other
wonderful tablescapes.

As for me and my house, we are...
Ready for potato soup in birdie bowls;
hands full of crackers &
birdie dish for shredded cheese.

This one above and the two bird dish are
closer to the correct colors,
had trouble getting the colors to come out right

on the others...frustrating!

used my tea-stained lace on the center piece nest
(remember my first attempt at tea staining several weeks ago)

Look at the birds of the air,
that they do not sow,
neither do they reap,
nor gather into barns,
and yet your heavenly Father
feeds them. Are you not worth
much more than they?

Matthew 6:26

Wishing you a Blessed Thursday
~Candy~

Candy... I can't stand it... I'm coming to Wimberly and following you around to all your special haunts for the eclectic! These are just beautiful!

I have to share with you that I bought a beautiful little framed water color painting of birds at Goodwill today(I'll post it soon)..I thought of you when I found it and your "saved" things... I saved some vintage Christmas balls and a couple of books too! But the painting is my absolute favorite... $3. ;)

Your little bird set is so unique and beautiful. I love the little birds. Little birds are so pretty anyway. I like to watch them feeding and fluttering in the trees. Your verse was great too. Everything was just lovely!!!

I came over from Leigh's.

What a wonderful and unique collection of bird dishes. I've never seen anything like it!!!

Now - - - what in the world are the "half-cut" wooden pear things in the glasses?

I can't figure them out.

I just love the color on that table, and the lace cloth is simply beautiful. Are the bluebonnets blooming yet? Happy TT.

Oh Candy - - - you TOTALLY got "away with it." I think the pear thingys look lovely, I just wondered what they were. They DO fit with a nature motif - - - which is exactly what you've got going on there!!!

What a fantastic tablescape you present today. BRAVO!!!!

I checked out your Grandmother's dishes, they are from the same company, but a slightly different pattern. I only wish that they were the same, because as I was looking for my Grandmother's pattern, I've found very little, but have found a great deal of your pattern and have thought of mixing them. Your Grandmother's is much more delicate and very lovely.

Thanks for sharing.
