Tablescape at Mother's

On my recent visit with family,
(living in Huntsville, Tx)
Mother and I played tablescape
with her dishes.

~Sea Foam and Shells~

She made the little shell bowls using a
ruffled clam half and assortment of
smaller shells with a
wooden curtain ring for the base.
Perfect for a serving of fresh fruit.

And this beautiful blue coral she
bought while living in California.

Thankful Thursday

This is gorgeous. I love all the shells and bubbles. Being a California gal, I'm kind of partial to the ocean, so this tablescape is like having the ocean right inside my own house. The blue coral is so beautiful!
Have a nice day. :-) Brenda

Hello Candy...

So nice of you to stop in for a visit today...thank you so much for all of your sweet comments!

Well my friend, how special to be able to do a tablescape with your Mom. It's been several years since my Mom and I have been able to do this...she's in Texas and I'm clear up here in Colorado! Your shell themed tablescape is gorgeous...unique...and so creative! I especially love the dessert bowls that your Mom made out of the shells...that's a grand idea and they turned out beautifully!!! Your place settings...beautiful...love those irridecsent baubles (sorry, not sure what they are called) but they reminded me of the little bubbles that travel atop the waves when coming ashore...soooo pretty! Love the beautiful shell centerpiece too...all so creative and ohhh so pretty!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

Candy,
You and your mom did a great job putting together this table. The way you have arranged the seashells with the bubble is so interesting and elegant!
