Triple Post Wednesday~

Dixie ~ French Lique, Texas
hosting WORDLESS Wednesday--
DANCE! St Patrick's Day

Barb ~ Grits and Glamour
hosting What's on My Wall Wednesday

This grouping hangs over the piano.
Photo of three~girl on the right is
my MIL's mother at age 16. She and family
were musicians playing for barn dances and
along the dusty trail on wagon trains.
Small pic is her in the nursing home in
Edna, Texas still playing the fiddle.
The fiddle on the wall belonged to one
of the men in the picture.
Neat family history is my son carries
on the family tradition by playing
Old Time Texas fiddle music.

Susan ~ A Southern Daydreamer

This is Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo, TX
2nd largest canyon in the U.S.
Hubby and son are there this
Spring break week with 21 others
from their Boy Scout Troop.

Happy Sunshine Wednesday

Aren't triple posts fun? Great choices for all the events. The pictures and story of your MIL's mother are just fantastic, and that she was still playing while living in the retirement home is so neat! Love the wall vignette you have of her pictures. Is that her fiddle? Kathy

I enjoyed all your Wed. posts, but the Palo Duro Canyon is my favorite. Dh and I lived in the panhandle in 86 & 87, and enjoyed going to PDC several times.

Have a good WW☺

Cool picture. Hope Hubby & Son enjoy the canyon. This is the time of year that the giant lupin (big versions of the Texas State Flower - Blue Bonnet) are in bloom. Maybe they'll bring you some photos of them.
