Inspired by a Purple Pansy

Last week I shared this picture of a cute little girl
holding a purple pansy. Wanting to go out
and play in her garden.

While it has been too hot around here
for playing outside in my garden, I have
been playing inside with flowers~~
paper flowers.

Whilst dreaming of the real thing...

I was making purple paper pansies!

Taking inspiration from Dawn at
The Feathered Nest and a little more from
KC Willis at Lipstick Ranch,
this is what I put together.

The base is a canvas board of 16 x 20
wrapped with vintage material.

Love this quote from Alice in Wonderland.

I am going to enjoy her for a little bit and
then add her to my small inventory
in the Rock Candy Shop.

For more outdoor wonders please check
with our gracious hostess Susan at
A Southern Daydreamer

Oh Miss Candy, that is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The pansies are definitely forget me nots. I love this piece so much. It reminds me of care free times when I was a child. Thank you, thank you for sharing. I will have to come back often and look at this picture. Beautiful job. Just beautiful. Country Hugs, Sherry
