Or a Holly Hobbit, although
either one would work for me!
Yes, the blue one has a little red check shirt on the top.

This is what I remember...
But the lunches were always good,
at least that is what I choose to remember ;-)
To continue my 'Back-2-School' memory lane I shared THREE OR MORE lunch boxes, each with just enough red to satisfy RUBY TUESDAY.
Go by and see what everyone else is sharing!

Coincidentally I posted about my brother today for 3 or more and the only lunchbox story I would have was about him.
We were moving from Ontario to BC and our car broke down (early 60's) We had to take a train and had to pay by weight. My brother had a plaid lunchbox filled with his best marbles. He had to leave them behind and he chose to pour them down a hillside of of the highway. What a sad sight that was.
Lunch boxes are real retro time capsules.
I still have my Holly Hobbie easy bake oven...and it still works! I remember my doll...and I don't know if I had a lunch box...but I do remember those too! I like the first one you shared..very neat!
I was just thinking this week of buying my granddaughter a little Emma Bridgewater lunchbox with dancing mice on it but I left it...She is only 4 months old so I have some years to wait before she can use it. I love the Chinese lunchbox and the Betty Boop one...
I know I had a lunch box from time to time, but I was more of a brown bag kind of girl.
Love seeing the lunch boxes! What a fun post for the start of school. Thanks for sharing.
If you like roosters, please stop by at my place for a visit this week. I'm celebrating roosters each day this week.

I remember those lunch boxes. I use to take my lunch to school everyday my Mom would pack It In a brown paper bag and every day she would write a different message on the outside of the bag. Have a great day..Kathi
I think I had a different Holly Hobbie and a Barbie one. I mostly remember the wonderful 'dessert' my mom packed:)
Great lunchboxes and just in time for 'back to school'. Growing up in Germany we didn't have lunchboxes, school was over by 1PM and you would each lunch at home. But they are fun.
Thank you for sharing.
Have a great day,
Tam
What a sweet walk down memory lane!! I know I mostly had a brown bag, but for awhile, a lunch box. For the life of me I can't remember what was on it! Another childhood memory lost with old age!!
Great post, Candy! Happy TOMT!!
