FLEA MARKET Friday & PINK SATURDAY

Today was a beautiful day to spend at the
Fredericksburg Flea Market and that's just
what Terry and I did.

One of the things on her list was a
roadrunner for the yard.
Well when we spotted this one,
she knew it was perfect. Meep-Meep!

Not quite as cute but for my yard,
I loaded this rusty stove in my cart...$5
Will show you how it looks as
soon as I 'plant' it in the garden.
Here is what the last load looked like. An old quilt for some projects. I plan on turning this lamp into a bird feeder. A tea pot for a planter and a few more odds and ends for projects that might show up on Met Monday in the future.

I just loved this purple chair and flowers.

After five hours of shopping we were famished. But not to worry, Terry had packed a delicious lunch and I'm not talking sack lunch either. She thought of everything. Napkin lined baskets held a scrumptious spinach salad with bacon and egg crumbles and homemade dressing. A slice of sourdough bread and plump blackberries for dessert. We even had cloth napkins.
Over the top Terry!!!

Now the PINKS from the day.
To help celebrate

More and more PINK baby doll body parts
are showing up everywhere I go.
I bought this puffy quilted bow with
PINK poke-a-dots.
And at the same booth I also picked up
four sweet stuffed hearts.
This one had PINK and blue lions.
And of course I had to have this precious little
PINK TY mouse with his big blue bow tie.

Now that was the PINK part of our day.

And for more pink just pop over to Beverly's
How Sweet The Sound.

That sounds delicious! She sure prepared well for the two of you. Do you mean Fredericksburg, Texas? I use to live in New Braunfels, and went there a few times. Live in East Texas now though.I'm always looking at things in the hopes I can repurpose it in my yard!

Sorry I'm a little late. Seems like when the sun is out I feel a desperate need to go outside and run errands or just life my face to the heavens and soak in the last rays before winter hits my neck of the woods.

It's always so much fun to share in the pink goodness of the blogs gathered together for Pink Saturday. A collection of some of the nicest women and prettiest blogs in cyberspace!

Wishing you a weekend filled with l♥ve and sunshine!

What a great lunch Terry made!

I thought of you every time I saw a doll part at Second Sunday last week. Even took a few photos for a post I'll get up in a few days.
