This is what I did on my rainy weather
birthday yesterday.

If you read my post yesterday, I mentioned Terry had several cornucopias tucked in her goody basket. That was all I needed to complete my Harvest Tower. Last year there was one at Market Days, so pretty, and I set about hunting for a variety of sizes. Hum...I need a stand...remnants of a floor lamp, the three lite fixtures long since removed...perfect. Just had to pull the weaving to make room for the pole.

Then loaded them with fall fruit, pine cones, & foliage.

3 little scarecrows and if they could talk
they would tell you, "Dollar Store after
Thanksgiving sale last year...10c.

More birthday fun. I tried to edit my post yesterday to add this pillow but my computer wouldn't let me. Didn't it know it was my birthday! But I wasn't scared and didn't crow about it...the little yellow flowers will be quite nice for Mellow Yellow Monday over at the Drowsey Monkey.

My harvest tower went together so quickly that I wasn't scared to start on my next project. Having sold the last pillow wall hanging I thought...how 'bout another one! It isn't finished yet but since he has a BLUE hat and a little YELLOW bird on his shoulder, I just had to share today.

He looks rather scared that Ms. Birdie
has come to pluck
some straw to fluff her nest.
