Fabric Collage & Friends

And that's just what we did...
we loaded up the truck and
moved on down the road.
No it's not the Beatles and
it's not Abbey Road but
it is the middle of Austin, TX.

Savers * Hancock Fabrics * Thrift Town
The girls rummaged through T.J. MAXX
while Candy played in the
hats and rugs.
Yes, I'm a bit UNCOMMON...
what you see is what you get!
ANTIQUES
uncommon OBJECTS
raw materials for creative living

And we had to check out this place
BITCH'IN THREADS
and speaking of threads, I made each gal
an original RockCandy fabric collage.

It was a fabulous day,
we shopped till we dropped,
celebrating birthdays,
and friendship.

It's a Good Thing!

Howdy, neighbor. I'm just down the road from you in San Antonio. This was my first visit to your sweet blog, and I will definitely be back. I just love the bunny with the cover over his little eyes. And I think that is the best mannequin I've ever seen. Way cool!

Smiles,

Carol

You captured our day perfectly! I still haven't unloaded my stash from the trunk! LOL... wanted to get Christmas put up first.. and then there's that new table to be set up in the dining room... it looks fabulous! (too bad I don't have any chairs yet!)... Had to get a couple of nephews over to help Ricky get it in the house!

I had a blast Thursday.. I hated for the day to end... even though I didn't get home till 7pm!

Thanks so much for dinner with you and your man Wednesday nite... and the wonderful stay in your guesthouse... Red Bird Inn... the Skinny Girl Margaritas... the fabulous chickenwire cloche you made and the beautiful art piece... You are truly AMAZING!

See you soon I hope! Big Texas Hugs sweet friend! Dixie

Oh that looks like so much fun! I have heard of uncommon objects, but never been there...I guess I need to schedule a shopping day! I just keep saving up for Warrenton & Round Top, because it will be here before we know it!

Omigosh Candy, what a fun outing with the girls. Too bad I don't leave near you, coz I'll be part of that shopping gang for sure.
