What's on Your Wall?

After looking at mine, please
head over to Barb's Grits & Glamour for more.

This is a wall in my family room...
it's one big room which includes the kitchen,
dining, and seating area with a fireplace.
I'll show you sometime after I have done a
little tidying up.

This is an old book of devotionals.
(not sure how old because the first page is missing)
But there is a handwritten note--
To My Dearest Friend Melba
(my mother-in-law)
Christmas 1948

And the little hand written framed Proverb
belonged to an Aunt.

I always enjoy looking at this
little wall arrangement
that reminds me...
The Lord holds the
keys to everything.

A beautiful display! Love the hinge and the old glass doorknob. Using those old keys is the perfect reminder that God is in control. He determines which doors will open and which will close. Very inspiring - thanks for sharing!!

In an age of e-mails, a handwritten note is precious. I too frame my mother's handwritten letters/recipes. This area of your wall is sure to bring a smile to all who see it.
