"Too many books, not enough time!" Me too Candy... I had a "Books" post all ready to go and then came upon "Doc's" books last night at the Rodeo. They're wonderful and I had to post them instead.. I think we'll have another "Books" WW later in the year... it's okay to reprint right!
Can't wait to find out where you came upon that autographed Tallulah Bankhead autobiography?! A library? (the "Discard" stamp?). That was a find!
When your post came up, my jaw dropped open because I have that first book "I Married Adventure"! It was in my father's enormous book collection and I can remember staring at the spine when I was a little girl because the zebra print was soooo fantastic!
And a signed book by Ms. Bankhead... who thought it was a discard?! It sure pays to keep your eyes open at library sales.
"So many books, not enough time!" should be on a t-shirt, don't you think?!
I love the Too Many Books, Not Enough Time--that should be my motto (and those of us participating in today's WW!). You've got some cool books--I particularly like the first one, the title made me lol!
Thanks for stopping by my Wordless Wednesday, I love the too many books not enough time, I think that is my Mom's motto also. I'm going to tell her about your blog.
Same here with Too many books, not enough time. I am lucky to get 2 books read per month. I think I have read a Francine Rivers book. Not the one you have here, but a different one. I enjoyed it.
What a lovely wall arrangement! And love your WW post, absolutely a true statement "too many books, not enough time" What great, interesting old books you have found. Kathy

My sweet dil introduced me to Francine Rivers books. I think she's read them all:)
I read a different one that this one-can't remember the name right now.
