The bells are ringing...

Come one, come all to the first
C L O C H E P A R T Y!
given by our very own Marty.

This is a first for me too,
what does one wear to such an event?

Jane Doe had the answer.
She has opened the first vintage clothing
store in Belgrade.

I found out there are different kinds of cloches.
cloche--French for bell.

Do I have one? I don't know.
I grabbed the camera and went searching.
Room by room, shelf to shelf...
what is this, I do have one.

Made by my Mother about 20 years ago.
But the little Robin red breast is as
fresh as ever.

And wasn't sure if this was one, but I added it anyway.
Picked up at an Estate sale along with the jewels.

Well I know you girls are going to show
some beauties so
without further ado...

Let's go!

Candy, your cloches are so cute! I don't have any but all these great ideas are making me salivate enough to ask for some at Christmas! LOL

Dear Candy,
I love that teal-colored polk-a-dot hat.
I don't own a cloche....I didn't even know what they were until I started blogging.
I love your wire cloche.

Candy, I love the one made out of wire, now I will be looking for one everywhere. If you run across one let me know.

Hope all is well at your house. Hope you get some rain, we need it badly, I have been watering day and night for 5 days and still can't keep everything going.

Have a great weekend.

On, Dandy, you won hands down. I never thought to just fill one with jewelry ... I headed out now to do so. TTFN ~ Marydon

Oh I love it. The chicken wire cloche and the little bird under the glass one, then the jar filled with vintage jewelry. Such great eye candy and so much fun. Thanks a bunch for joining the party. This is so much fun and such great inspiration. Hugs, Marty

Just love the wire one! That is so creative! The jewelry looks so lovely! I can never resist the bird ones! I have a blue bird in a cage, my grandson said that was mean. lol It sings, but not real.
