Sweet Dreams

Locked in the top of the tower,
the princess makes the best
of a bad situation.

Country Summer 2007

Funny things are happening here in blogland. Never was I passionate about pink or wild about white. But all that is changing...post by beautiful post and page by page of dazzling magazines. And just last week as soon as my eyes fell on this piece I had to have it. A pleasing pink and off white pottery Lazy Susan set. It is rather large...17" across.
There are no markings on the back of the center bowl but on the back of each dish is Valley Vista Calf U.S.A. #102. I did some research, a bit interesting, but the company is not longer in business.

So as you can see...my dreams are becoming
as sweet as pink cotton candy.

Thanks to Beverly, the gal
that keeps this part of the week

Pink is one of those colors that just make you smile! The first bedroom might be a tad over the top, but the second one is pretty sweet.

Oh Candy!
You have so many beautiful pink things posted today. I just love the pink bedroom at the top. I could dream beautifully in there. How beautiful. I also love the pink dish. It is so pretty. Pink is such a soothing color, and makes us happy.

Hope you have a wonderful Halloween sweetie. I have missed you. I am going to start picking up my Pink Saturday again next week. With my 3 1/2 weeks of traveling, and then the passing of Amy, I have been a little under the weather. I am trying harder each day.

See you next week sweetie. Country hugs and love, Sherry

What a great find! My grandmother had a similar serving piece in aqua ~ I think she bought it in the 1950's. The cottage bedroom with the pink shutter headboard is just dreamy.

Love the pink lazy Susan. Awhile back, I did a post about my favorite color being blue. There was no unfriendly backlash. (Pink is my second favorite though.) Twyla

hhhmm it wouldn't be hard for the princess to come up of something to do locked in that gorgeous room :-)

Your new pottery set is pretty :-) And I agree, it's amazing - Pink Saturday . You notice too that your eyes become sharper everytime you come across something pink? LOL

I love your blog!! I just came across it for the first time tonight. Funny thing, I have a lazy susan just like the one you just found. Mine was my grandmother's. Where did you find yours? I'm trying to find out if it has much value. Do you know?
