How much is that dolly in the window?

Finally posting about the dolls I bought on last week's Market Days trip with Dixie.
Hey girls, there seems to be a bit of plastic surgery in your future but probably not the kind you were hoping for. Little Debbie might not be 'cute as a cupcake'
If you are familiar with Sid's room from
TOY STORY,
then you can imagine my warped sense of humor.

But just so you don't think me totally off...
here are a few pretty things I've picked up recently.

Mother Goose planter caught my eye right quick.
And these delicate porcelain flowers, how could I
pass them up...$1. Dixie saw them before I did and
as I picked them off the shelf she said,
"I knew you would want that."

Speaking of Wimberley Market Days...if any of you Texas gals want to meet up the first Saturday in November just let me know. I have already heard from several bloggers making plans to come. Vicki may come with her sister and niece. And Charlene is hoping to come with her mom. Dixie and I had a wonderful lunch at the Wimberley Cafe on the square. A great place to meet up and share our treasures from the day. I will keep you posted as time draws nearer. Hope YOU can make it!

Have a glorious weekend!

Three or More Tuesday

Every time I run an errand there
seems to be a Thrift Store in between
and my car must be programed
to turn in. I try to stay on course, but
you know these new cars with GPS & all those
little dingy sounds?
I don't know if my seat belt is off, a door is a jar,
my fuel is low, or maybe the oil...anyway where was I?...
Oh yea, Thrift Stores, I just can't pass on by.

Here are the things that caught my eye today.
Which is good for my first post on
Three or More Tuesday.

Tam at the Gypsy's Corner is the hostess,
so stop by and take a gander.

Don't forget to laugh today!

Gathered Things~

Popped into several of my favorite haunts today.
Ended up with an eclectic assortment of things
that caught my eye.
I could see a sweet little pin cushion perched on this
wiry birdie. What do you see? $1

This little cup is quite unusual.
Seems like a paper napkin or tissue paper
was attached some how on the inside, then sealed.
And sweet little dots of iridescent paint. 50c

Couldn't leave this cuddly little bear with his little crow friend behind.
Would be cute in a Thanksgiving center piece. $2.99

Some nice pictures in these books, doily, a couple bolster pillows--to decorate.

Also get every mailbox I see (that's priced right) this one was $2.
I scatter them around my property to hold a pair of gloves to pick up rocks,
and hand shears to cut limbs or weeds.
Miss Mouse is going outside somewhere, too. $1

It was a fun day, hope yours was too! Candy~
